Leonard Roberto has been married to Robin, his wife of 31 years and has 3 sons, all of who have served in the United States military, and 4 grandchildren.

Mr. Roberto served as an Electronics Technician aboard the USS Benjamin Stoddert (DDG-22) during the Vietnam War. Mr. Roberto was also a part of the commissioning crew of the USS Texas (CGN-39).

In 1979 following his military service Mr. Roberto worked as an electronics technician in the machine tool industry. While employed, he attended Elohim Bible Institute in Castile, New York from which he graduated in 1988 and was ordained a minister in 1991.

In addition to ministering, Mr. Roberto established a manufacturing facility in Batavia New York specializing in the fabrication of metal products for the electronic industry, and has served as Owner and President for the past 19 years.

In 2005, following years of frustration with ineffective legislators, Mr. Roberto founded Primary Challenge, an organization dedicated to government reform.
